The NIOS II Development platform consists of the "Base Board" and "Cyclone II Mother Board". The Base Board provides human interface, display, clocking, expansion connectors, and communication ports. The Mother Board provides FPGA resources, memory, and additional communication ports.

The NIOS II Platform is ideal for Embedded System, SOC, and EDA circuit designs.
