Powered by Stratix II GX  EP2SGX90/EPS2SGX130 and supported by 2 Gb of DDR-2  SDRAM and peripherals, this is an ideal Altera based 8-Lane End-Point PCI Express platform. 8 Stratix-II GX SERDES Transceivers are used as PCI Express PHY and connected to the soft core PCI Express Controller  (2.0 compliant) distributed through HiTech Global)

2 on-board high-speed connectors can host different custom daughter cards. The prototyping matrix can also be sued with Santa Cruz daughter cards.
