ACEX®, FLEX® APEX® 20KE/V PCISYS Development Kit
                         32/64bit 33/66 MHz 3.3V/5V 
 

The PCISYS is an ALTERA® ACEX®, FLEX® APEX®20KE/V based production card that can be used as a 5 volt or 3.3volt (depending on the mounted device), 32bit or 64bit, 33Mhz or 66Mhz PCI development board, for vision, industrial automation, multi channel acquisition, data processing, data storage, networking or in general as a PCI design platform.

  

 

 

 
PCI Features:
- PCI short card form factor
- 32bit and 64bit PCI operation
- 5volt or 3.3volt PCI board (Depending on the mounted device)
- Operates on 33Mhz and 66Mhz PCI bus (Depending on the mounted device)
- Includes PLD Applications 32/64 bit PCI IP cores free license for exclusive use with the PCISYS boards.

Technology:
- ALTERA® ACEX®, FLEX®APEX®20K /E /V (1K100 to 20K1000) CPLD support, including independent power supply for device I/Os (3.3V) and core(1.8 or 2.5V)
- ALTERA® APEX® programmable logic devices are FBGA 672 pin packaged.
- ALTERA® FLEX® and ACEX ® programmable logic devices are FBGA 484pin packaged.

Software:
- FLASHPROM configuration module software
- Software kit with GUI applications for monitoring and exercising PCISYS board
- Software development kit including PCI device driver

Configuration:
PCI interface device configuration via:
- ALTERA® BitBlaster/ByteBlaster (JTAG chain) or
-  PLDA FLASHPROM module (Configuration via the PCI bus), allows to store two different configurations on FLASHPROM.

- LVDS IO_path on SCSI 100pts connector (33 IN + 1ref_clk, 10 I/Os)
- 1Mx32 bits synchronous SRAM
- 256K x 32 bits user FLASHPROM
- 4 User LEDs
- 2 RS232 I/F
- PMC32&64 I/F available on solder side
-2 optoelectronic inputs for triggering

Options:
- Various standard daughter cards available (prototyping breadboard, 2 channels Gigabit communication, …
- Cables available in various format(SCSI100pts to 2*DB37 + DB15, SCSI100pts to free end, …)
