The Spartan3 PCIe boards is powered by Xilinx Spartan 3 ™  XC3S1000 and Philips PX1012A-EL1 PCI Express 1-Lane PHY.

The Spartan3 PCIe  board is bundled with a full featured version of the PLD Applications PCI Express IP Core. (one lane). Designers can add their own logic inside the FPGA and connect it to the PCI Express controller.

Probing and Prototyping Matrix provides additional  access to the Spartan 3 FPGA I/Os.
