3 main Virtex®-5 based development platforms with 14 different derivatives are available to support designers for x1, x4,
and x8 PCI Express Gen 1 and/or Gen 2 applications. These platforms are

IP Cores :
The PCI Express IP Core solution is a complete,
high-performance, customizable design which enables users to accelerate
designs containing PCI Express and SDRAM into production. The PCI
Express IP Core solution fully integrates PCI Express Controller, DMA
Engines, and SDRAM Controller
and provides a high-performance starting design to which users add their custom ports to complete their application.

Drivers:

WinDriver™ product line supports any
PCI device and enables designers to focus on their driver's
added-value functionality instead of on the operating system
internals. With WinDriver designers can access their hardware
from the application level in Windows NT, NT Embedded, 2000,
XP, XP Embedded, Server 2003, Vista, Windows CE 4.x-6.0, Windows
Mobile 5.0/6.0, Linux, Solaris and VxWorks, and automatically
generate a skeletal driver code.
