SMT7007:"Killebrew" PCI C6416 Multi DSP system

Description:
The SMT7007 is the first of the Sundance SMT7xxx Development Systems that uses the TMS320C6416 DSP from Texas Instruments and four of the SMT361 Modules are fitted to the SMT7007 and provide a peak-performance of over 1.2GIPS (Giga Instruction per Seconds). The Modular concept allows the application to be written and tested and should the performance become a problem, then a faster Module can be fitted as a replacement or another SMT7007 can be added to the system. The same principle applies for the opposite situation, where the performance of the SMT7007 outstrip the requirements and one or more DSP Modules can be removed or cheaper Modules can replace the SMT361.
