HTG-840  : Virtex UltraScale™ PCIe/SOC Development Platform

Populated with one AMD  Virtex UltraScale VU440 FPGA, the HTG-840 provides access to the largest available FPGA gate density in a single chip for wide variety of ASIC and SOC development and prototyping. This platform is also ideal for applications requiring high-performance computing.

The HTG-840 architecture allows easy and versatile functional expansion through four Vita 57.1 compliant High-Pin-Count (HPC) FPGA Mezzanine Card (FMC) connectors. The four FMC connectors provide access to 640 single-ended FPGA I/Os (320 LVDS) and 12 GTH (16.3Gbos) serial transceivers. The Z-Ray connector  also provides access to 16 GTH serial transceivers (as well as control and voltage pins)  for applications requiring large number of concentrated serial I/Os such as Hybrid Memory Cube (HMC), QSFP+, SFP+, FireFly, CXP,  etc.

The HTG-840 is supported by two 72-bit ECC DDR4 SODIMM sockets providing access to up to 32 GB of SDRAM memory (16GB through each socket).

The HTG-840 can be used in PCI Express or Standalone mode and powered through a standard 6-pin Molex PCIe connector.
