HTG-712: Xilinx
Virtex™ -7 High-End Networking Card with Samtec FireFly™
Two DDR3 SODIMM Sockets are placed on the reverse
side
Powered by Xilinx Virtex-7 V2000T, V585T, or
X690T, the HTG-712 is ideal for High-End networking applications
requiring data transfer above 120Gbps. The HTG-712 board is also ideal
for high-performance computing, high-end image processing, PCI Express
Gen 2 & 3 development, and general purpose FPGA development.
The HTG-712 is supported by one
Samtec FireFly™
Micro Flyover System with 12 Receive and Transmit serial ports. This is
the first inside-the-box interconnect system that gives designers a
choice of using either micro footprint high performance active optical
engines or low-cost copper interconnects. This allows the designer to
upgrade from electrical to optical FireFly™ using the same
connector system.

The High Pin Count (HPC) FMC connector
provides access to 160 single-ended I/Os (80 LVDS) and 10 high-speed
Serial Transceivers of the onboard Virtex 7 FPGA. Availability of over
100 different off-the-shelf
FMC modules extends
functionality of the board for variety of different applications with
minimum effort and cost.
Eight lanes of PCI Express Gen 2 (V585T &
V2000T) /3 (X690T) is supported by the hard coded controllers inside the
onboard Xilinx Virtex 7 FPGA.
The HTG-712 Virtex 7 FPGA board can be used
either in PCI Express mode (plugged into host PC/Server) or stand alone
mode (powered by external ATX or wall power supply).
