Leap® On-Board Transceiver
FMC+
Module (Vita57.4)
The FMC-LEAP is a
Vita57.4 compliant FMC+ module supported by two Amphenol/FCI 300Gig
Leap® On-Board Transceiver ports and ultra
low-jitter programmable clock generator.
Each Leap on-board transceiver port is directly connected to 12
multi-gigabit serial transceivers (1.25Gb/s
to 25.8Gb/s)
of Vita 57.4 compliant
FPGA carrier boards.
Each port can also used for three 100G interfaces through MPO splitting
cables.
Amphenol FCI’s 300Gb/s Leap® High-Speed
Optical Module is faster, smaller, more cost and power efficient than
most conventional datacenter interconnects. The transceiver is
capable of speeds up to 25Gb/s and distances up to 100m . The 300Gb/s
total throughput requires only 1sq inch of board space and 5.4W of
power.
